Aidan Carroll
Aidan Carroll has been involved in martial arts for over 20 years. He has studied many arts including Shotokan, Ju-jitsu, Aikido, and holds a 2nd degree black belt in kickboxing. Aidan is one of only 4 Irish men in the world to hold the instructors diploma in Krav Maga. Having done door work in many different pubs and clubs in Ireland for 3 years, Aidan quotes " When a situation becomes live and is taken outside of the Dojo (training arena) with respect , no other art I have studied is more practical than Krav Maga". Aidan studied at DCU and holds a level 2 NCEF diploma in Anatomy and Physiology and Personal training awarded by the Physical Education Association of Ireland (PEAI). Aidan is also a sports injury rehabilitation therapist and a strength & conditioning coach and is also trained in emergency first aid and CPR.
Aidan is the director and chief Krav Maga Instructor / Personal Fitness Trainer with Kravmaga.ie and Focusfitness.ie - The Company started back in 2002 with a client base of 12 and we are now proud to say that this has expanded rapidly and we are continuing to grow. "I believe it is important for the company to keep upto date with the ever changing world of Health and Fitness, Krav Maga & Martial Arts. I continue to attend health & Fitness and martial art seminars and workshops nationwide and in Europe so that I can introduce and offer any new trends in our industry to my clients". Our team of Krav Maga Instructors were trained and awarded their instructor diplomas from Eyal Yanilov who is the highest ranked individual in Krav Maga today and is the chief Instructor of the IKMF. Eyal Yanilov is the only person who holds the rank of Master level 3/Expert level 8. Aidan is a 2nd dan black belt with the SDF Federation and is also a member of the Self Defence Federation UK.
Steve Maycock
Steve Maycock has been involved in Martial arts for over 31 years. He has also practised many arts including Muay Thai, Jujitsu. Steve holds a krav Maga instructors diploma, a 3rd degree black belt in ju-jitsu and is a Sambo Russian wrestling coach. Steve is also trained in emergency first aid and CPR
Steve Folan
Steve brings a wealth of experience to the Kravmaga.ie team. He is trained in many of the traditional arts including Wado-ryu, Aikido and Ju-jitsu and has been practising Muay-Thai for five years and has recently taken up Bjj (Brazilian jiu-jitsu) - A true MMA
As well as holding the Krav Maga instructors diploma, Steve is also trained in emergency first aid and CPR. Steve will be a regular instructor on the weekend course in Dublin. Steve is also up and running with his own club and website at Krav Maga Cork
